Sivakasi City Guide
Believe it or not, Sivakasi supplies match boxes to the whole of India! It is an important industrial town of Tamil Nadu which manufactures safety match boxes. It is also popular for fire works as most of the fire works that light up during Diwali is manufactured in Sivakasi. Another important industry is the printing industry. Though not a very important tourist place like its neighbour Madurai, yet there are some architecturally famous temples and memorials that make the place an important tourist attraction.
